I wonder how many dogs that were purchased at HIP landed in a shelter? We have been protesting this pet shop for over 9 years and we know our protests, outreach, etc. is working. In 2008 this chain sold over 5000 puppies and as you can see, the numbers have gone down. It's not enough though, we need to keep it up. Especially now when people are focusing on other issues with our country, we can't forget about the breeding dogs stuck in puppy mills.
